The Taiwanese government really protect jobs here for citizens. The rules are, at least 2 years of work xp and $45K NT per month. This boils down to, unless you have senior or lead or executive in front of your last position, it'll be hard to achieve $45k. That answer lots of questions.<br /><br />Before I decide to apply for a visa and actually go there, can I ask you that are you able to search for a job that you are interested? <br /><br />I understand that most Americans end up to be English teachers in Taiwan, I don't mind to teach English to get some fast cash, but long term is definitely not my cup of tea.
